Really appreciate this, especially about making sure all the players (ie, public health) are supported and funded.

Very well said, Elvin! There is tremendous potential for implementation science to help transform research into better health outcomes for people and better systems for implementers. But we should consider the pitfalls and obstacles we create for ourselves (like insisting there is only one true definition or best framework). In addition, implementation scientists have to pause to see how we can better communicate complex IS concepts and approaches back to other researchers and most importantly, the public. Otherwise, we will waste this opportunity and continue to widen the divide and distrust.
